Stephanie is a rare breed; she is a Florida native. She was born in Daytona Beach and has loved animals for as long as she can remember. Stephanie’s first childhood pets were a cat named Tiger and a boxer mix named Moose. The family had all kinds of animals including ducks, peacocks, and even a sheep.e Stephanie was born and raised in Daytona Beach. She grew up in a home full of kids and animals. Stephanie attended Spruce Creek High School and Florida State University, where she majored in Criminology and English. She worked in the legal field before following her heart to veterinary medicine in 2003. Stephanie's current title is Assistant Hospital Manager supporting our swing shift/overnight team. Steph started her career at FAH working as a veterinary assistant in exam rooms. She is indespensible to our hospital filling in wherever she is needed; assisting in surgery, helping in exam rooms, helping the CSR group, or providing an extra hand with hospitalized patients. Stephanie and her fiancé, Tom, live on a small hobby farm in Crescent City. They have a chocolate lab, 4 cats, 2 horses, 2 pigs, 10 goats and a flock of chickens. When she isn’t working on the farm or at FAH, Stephanie enjoys riding her horse, spending time with her animals, and riding motorcycles with Tom.
