We value our clients’ experience at Flagler Animal Hospital. Here’s what some of your neighbors have been saying about us since 1989.
I brought my Havanese in as an emergency this past weekend, I normally go to another vet. I was so worried and scared for my 4 yr old girl and I could not go inside with her because of Covid. I was so fortunate that Dr. B was able to look her over while I waited outside in the car. Obviously, I wanted to be in there with her and speak to the doctor face to face. He called me and calmly answered every question and went over every scenario which put me at ease. I especially liked how honest he was and how he started with the most conservative treatment and then said if she did not improve, to move up to the more involved (and expensive) levels in a few days. Sure enough, my furbaby is well on her way to back to normal three days later and there was no need for follow up! I can't say enough good things about this doctor's honesty and this place in general.
My puppy just had her first visit and I am so thrilled with how amazing the appointment was! At first I was concerned about not being able to accompany her in to the office for her visit (one of the health precautions they currently have in place for COVID-19), but the staff made the entire experience surprisingly comfortable, easy, and stress-free. They're on the phone with you throughout the visit, and they are exceptionally attentive and caring. After the appointment, they brought my puppy back outside to me, and she very happily tried to follow them back in to the office. She didn't want to leave! Clearly my puppy felt safe and loved. I'll be singing their praise to anyone with a pet!
My mini dachshund had tumor removal surgery 2 days ago at FAH. Trying to carry on with excellent veterinary care during a pandemic must be complicated & difficult, but I was very impressed. Owners may not enter the facility and the staff comes to your car to take down your pet's information, your credit card information (verbally, no contact). They then come back to take your pet in for care. The vets & staff communicated with me by phone after Daisy's surgery & gave me detailed discharge instructions when I picked her up later in the afternoon. They also followed up by phone the day after surgery & I will receive a call from Dr. Fridlund once the pathology results are back in about a week. I am new to the area & found this practice via excellent recommendations on the Next Door app. I, too, would highly recommend Flagler Animal Hospital.
