Dr. Kellie Fridlund lived in Scotland for 5 years studying at the University of Glasgow, where she received her degree in veterinary medicine. Although it was an amazing experience, she is happy to be back home in Florida to enjoy the sunshine and water. She grew up in Largo, on the west coast of Florida in the Tampa Bay and loves being outdoors; paddle boarding, surfing, diving, or cycling. She is also an avid yogi.
Her little happy “furmily” consists of Mickie, my 16-year-old cocker spaniel, Raja & Shanti, her two big kitties. She loves exploring and experiencing new cultures and has traveled to 48 countries so far. She has a passion for wildlife and conservation. She has worked on loads of cool species in pretty awesome places, including elephants and rhinos in Africa and manatees and primates in Belize.
